The upcoming sixth edition of the National Table Tennis Championships, known as the Michael and Felicia Alabi Memorial Table Tennis Tournament, is set to take place in Otan Ayegbaju, Osun State, from April 12 to April 17, 2026. This prestigious event will see over 250 players competing across various categories, including elite and age-grade competitors, illustrating the championship's growing appeal and significance in the Nigerian sports landscape.
Organized by the Osun State Table Tennis Association with support from the Nigeria Table Tennis Federation and the Michael and Felicia Alabi Foundation, the tournament will be hosted at the Idera Multi-Purpose Hall, which was recently constructed to facilitate such events. The participation of veterans and para-athletes, including those who are deaf, highlights the tournament's commitment to inclusivity and the promotion of equal opportunities for all athletes involved.
