A recent study conducted by the corporate benefits management company VR has revealed a staggering 152% increase in the number of women taking leave from work due to violence, covering the period from 2023 to 2025. The analysis drew from medical certificates submitted via the SuperApp VR platform, encompassing around 4 million workers, with women making up 47% of this base. In total, there were 122 reported incidents during this timeframe, with a notable rise from 23 cases in 2023 to 58 in 2025, marking an all-time high in the historical series of data. Most incidents (85%) were categorized as physical aggression, highlighting a severe issue regarding workplace safety and women's rights.
