Tradition pub in Haidhausen: A Spanish wind is now blowing in Preysinggarten
The Preysinggarten in Haidhausen reopens under new management with a fresh Spanish influence and an enthusiastic young team.
The Preysinggarten, a traditional pub in Haidhausen, has undergone a transformation under the new management of the Munich gastronomy company Kull & Weinzierl. After the previous owner, Konstantinos Papadakis, filed for insolvency last summer, the pub is set to reopen on March 10, featuring a newly designed interior with Spanish touches such as blue-and-white tablecloths and special wall lamps imported from Spain.
The ambiance has been enhanced with fresh wood paneling and the addition of a vibrant young team, led by 39-year-old Francisco Corcoba and 28-year-old Julian Plochberger, who shows great eagerness to start their new culinary venture. This change in leadership and style signals a new direction for the Preysinggarten, aiming to attract both locals and newcomers alike in a competitive Munich restaurant scene.
This reopening not only revitalizes a local landmark but also reflects broader trends in the gastronomy sector, where traditional establishments are reinventing themselves to remain relevant. The infusion of Spanish culture and cuisine into the Preysinggarten promises to offer an exciting experience for patrons and may influence dining trends in the area.
