Two women were shot dead in Caraúbas, Brazil, as they were targeted by gunmen while leaving a vehicle.
In the tragic incident that took place in the afternoon of Saturday, the 7th, in Caraúbas, two women, identified as Jéssica Lorelly de Oliveira Pereira, aged 38, and Joana Darc Maia, aged 58, were murdered in a shooting. The attack occurred near a local school on Rua Francisco Martins de Miranda, where the victims were shot multiple times by assailants using a 9mm pistol, resulting in their immediate deaths at the scene.
The local police investigation revealed that the victims had just exited a car, which was being driven by Jéssica's child, when they were ambushed. The police reported that a grey Fiesta car approached and two armed men emerged, opening fire at the two women who were apparently targeted without any apparent provocation or warning. Witnesses indicated that the event unfolded rapidly, with the victims having just arrived at Joana’s residence when the shooting began.
