A man, aged 36, has been arrested by the Military Police in Fortaleza, Brazil, following a dramatic incident where he is accused of kidnapping his two stepdaughters, aged 11 and 14, during a domestic violence dispute with their mother. The events began in Itaitinga when the man reportedly fled in a vehicle with the girls after an argument with his wife, leading the police to initiate a pursuit.

The police were alerted to the situation and attempted to stop the suspect, who disregarded the orders and crashed into several other vehicles while trying to escape.
