The recent spring fair for student companies held in VΓ΅ru, Southern Estonia, brought together close to 90 young entrepreneurs from six counties. This event provided an excellent opportunity for the students to test their skills in presenting and selling their products to visitors. Participants ranged from third graders to those in high school and vocational schools, gaining valuable experience regardless of their sales success.
The fair showcased a diverse array of products, including various foods, beverages, and innovative solutions crafted by the young entrepreneurs. Kadi Kaur, the project manager for youth entrepreneurship, highlighted the importance of products made from wood, emphasizing its value as a raw material. The creativity and innovation displayed by the participants reflected the ongoing enthusiasm among youth for entrepreneurship, with this year's fair featuring multiple food producers and novel approaches to business.
Young entrepreneur Γlis Pokotylo shared insights about her product, flavored toothpicks, noting a positive reception and growing sales interest. The feedback indicated that there is an increasing curiosity towards unique food items which contrasts with the traditional perception of toothpicks. Overall, the spring fair was a successful endeavor, fostering an entrepreneurial spirit among the youth and enhancing their skills in a practical setting.
