A man was arrested in flagrante delicto after breaking into his ex-partner's house and starting a fire in the Mansão neighborhood of Conceição do Coité, located about 111 kilometers from Feira de Santana, Brazil. The incident occurred on the night of October 6, with the woman reporting to the Military Police that her ex-husband was unable to accept the end of their relationship. According to the police report, he also threatened her before invading the house, leading to her fleeing for safety.

Despite the woman's attempts to get help by leaving the house, the suspect managed to set fire to at least two rooms within the property, specifically the living room and the bedroom. The fire prompted a quick response from the local rescue brigade, as well as the police. Once the authorities were alerted, they managed to locate the man and apprehended him at the scene of the crime, preventing further escalation.
