A tragic shooting incident occurred in a bar located in Papucaia, a district of Cachoeira de Macacu, Brazil, on the evening of Friday, October 6. The attack involved two men on a motorcycle who opened fire indiscriminately at patrons, leading to the death of 62-year-old Ricardo Oliveira da Silva, known as 'Ricardo Sapão'. The police arrived at the scene shortly after the incident, which took place around 8:30 PM, and reported that the gunmen fled the area immediately after the attack.

In addition to the fatality, four other individuals were injured during the shooting, some of whom were hospitalized for treatment at the Unidade de Pronto Atendimento (UPA) in Papucaia before being transferred to the Alberto Torres State Hospital in São Gonçalo.
