Starting from Sunday, the Foreign Ministry will organize bus transport from Doha to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where commercial flight options are still available. The planned evacuation comes in the wake of multiple airspace closures and flight cancellations involving several airlines in response to rising tensions between Israel and Iran, affecting travel in the region.
Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen acknowledged the inherent risks associated with this evacuation method when questioned about passenger safety.
