The Brazilian federal government has announced a major infrastructure project aimed at improving road conditions in Campo Grande, as detailed in the official publication from the DiΓ‘rio Oficial da UniΓ£o. The project will focus on paving roads across 28 neighborhoods, which are expected to benefit substantially from the initiative. The selection of this project for federal funding marks a crucial step toward enhancing urban infrastructure and ensuring better accessibility for residents.
Investment in the project totals approximately R$ 143 million, comprising R$ 136.09 million from the federal government and R$ 7 million from the municipal authorities. In addition, around R$ 100 million in parliamentary amendments is anticipated to support this effort, bringing the overall investment to more than R$ 243 million. This financial backing illustrates the government's commitment to improving local infrastructure and responding to community needs.
Moreover, several neighborhoods, such as Jardim Mansur, Auxiliadora, Noroeste, and Itatiaia, will see the continuation of previously started works, enhancing the overall development impact in these areas. The project is organized into 22 work lots, highlighting a structured approach to urban repair and development. As the project progresses, it will likely improve mobility, stimulate local economies, and enhance the quality of life for Campo Grande residents.
