Vaccination against yellow fever: campaign will have Day D this Saturday (7) in Vale do Paraíba

The state of São Paulo will conduct a Day D vaccination campaign against yellow fever, offering residents the opportunity to receive the vaccine and update their immunization records.

The government of São Paulo is launching a Day D vaccination campaign against yellow fever on Saturday, October 8, across the state. This initiative is aimed particularly at the Vale do Paraíba region, which includes cities like São José dos Campos, Jacareí, Taubaté, Caraguatatuba, and São Sebastião. Residents are encouraged to take advantage of this campaign to not only receive the yellow fever vaccine but also to update other vaccinations in their immunization certificates.

In São José dos Campos, all 40 UBS Resolve health units will be open from 9 AM to 3 PM to facilitate the vaccination process. Similarly, in Taubaté, vaccinations will take place from 8 AM to 4 PM in both urban and rural areas. Urban residents can visit various health units such as Aeroporto, Fazendinha, Mourisco, Independência, and Gurilândia, while rural vaccinations will be conducted at units in Monjolinho, Registro, and Pinheirinho.

In Jacareí, the local government is organizing a Day D of multi-vaccination, which will include the yellow fever vaccine among other immunizations. The campaign is part of a broader public health effort to ensure the population is protected against diseases like yellow fever, particularly in high-risk areas, and emphasizes the importance of maintaining up-to-date vaccination records for overall community health.
