Vorcaro arrives at federal prison where PCC leader is detained and will initially be isolated
Banker Daniel Vorcaro has been transferred to a federal prison in Brasília, where he will undergo a period of isolation as part of security protocols.
Daniel Vorcaro, the owner of Banco Master, was transferred this Thursday to a federal prison in Brasília. Following standard procedure in the federal penitentiary system, he will have his head shaved and spend an initial 20 days in a Disciplinary Differentiated Regime (RDD), which is a heightened security measure. During this time, he will be isolated in a 6 m² cell with minimal amenities, having no contact with other inmates, and will partake in solitary exercise within the confines of his cell.
Vorcaro's isolation is in accordance with his classification, which will subsequently be reviewed by the prison's intelligence department to determine his placement within the broader prison system. This protocol aims to assess an inmate's profile before integrating them into the general population. After the initial isolation period, Vorcaro's future interactions and conditions will depend on the assessment of the prison officials regarding his behavior and potential risks.
As he enters the facility, Vorcaro is also equipped with a standard issue kit given to all inmates. This includes essential clothing and personal items such as pants, shorts, shirts, footwear, as well as bedding and hygiene products. Such measures are typical in Brazilian federal prisons and reflect the overall policies concerning inmate treatment and security measures.
