Feira de Santana, the second-largest city in Bahia, Brazil, will implement a special public transport operation to accommodate attendees of the 12th Festa da Matinha this weekend. The festival is set to take place at the local football stadium in Matinha district on Saturday, May 7, and Sunday, May 8. The plan was developed by the Municipal Secretariat of Urban Mobility and aims to ensure easier access for festivalgoers to the event's various attractions, which include local artists as well as renowned singers Edson Gomes and Silvano Salles.

On Saturday, the regular bus line 055, connecting Matinha to the Central Terminal, will operate according to its usual schedule from 4:40 AM to 9:30 PM. To enhance the public transport services during the festival, an additional bus will be provided from 6:00 PM until 4:00 AM on Sunday, matching the event's anticipated conclusion at that time. This organized approach reflects the municipality's commitment to facilitating community engagement and fostering local cultural events through increased accessibility.
