Thermometers will rise higher every day: announces when we will experience 15 degrees of warmth
Lithuania is set to experience a warm weekend, with temperatures approaching 15 degrees Celsius in some regions, thanks to the influence of a southeastern anticyclone.
Lithuanian weather forecaster T. KaunienΔ has reported that the weather will be influenced by the southeastern part of an anticylone. Tonight, the skies in Lithuania will be partially cloudy without precipitation, although fog is expected in the western and northern regions, leading to slippery conditions due to freezing in humid areas. Temperatures will drop to between 1 to 6 degrees Celsius, with the coldest temperatures occurring in the central and eastern parts of the country.
The weekend weather is expected to be inviting, with more sunshine in the southern regions. On Saturday, temperatures will fluctuate between 2 to 7 degrees Celsius during the day, while certain northern and southern areas may reach between 8 to 12 degrees Celsius. On Sunday, clear and dry weather is expected throughout the night and day, with nighttime temperatures again dropping to between 1 to 6 degrees Celsius, but warming up to around 5 to 10 degrees Celsius during the day, with the potential for some areas to hit 13 degrees Celsius.
This warm weather is associated with the anticylone, which will continue to affect the country's climate into Monday, indicating a prolonged period of mild temperatures for the region. The forecast has implications for outdoor activities as citizens are encouraged to enjoy the favorable weather over the weekend.
