Lublin Airport to expand parking. There will be twice as many parking spaces

Lublin Airport has obtained approval to expand its parking capacity, doubling the number of parking spaces available.

Lublin Airport has announced plans to expand its parking facilities, having secured the necessary construction approval. The expansion will occur in two stages, adding a total of 262 parking spaces, with the first stage providing 132 spaces and the second stage adding another 130 spaces. This construction will take place on the departures side of the airport.

The airport's president, Dariusz Krzowski, emphasized that improving passenger experience is a priority, particularly as the network of flights has been increasing, notably during the summer season. This rise in flights has resulted in more vehicles using the airport parking, prompting the decision to expand parking availability. The airport aims to have the new spaces ready in time for the peak of summer travel, which is expected to alleviate issues surrounding overcrowded parking.

Additionally, Ryanair has announced a new flight route from Lublin to Trapani in Sicily, indicating a growth in travel options from the region. This new connection aligns with the airport's strategy to enhance travel convenience and accessibility, further highlighting the importance of the parking expansion as they prepare for increased passenger numbers.
