The incident was captured on security cameras and involved three cousins who were armed with a firearm and a knife. They intended to attack Wesley Vidal, the ex-boyfriend of one of the assailants' partners, but instead, they attacked Wallisson Vidal, Wesley's twin brother, due to the mix-up.

The arrested individuals included Wanderson Nogueira da Silva, 27, who is the current partner of Wesley's ex-girlfriend and faced charges of threats and bodily harm; Paulo Victor Dione Alves da Silva, 22, who had an outstanding warrant for drug trafficking and was implicated in a car theft the same day; and a 14-year-old juvenile, who was apprehended and taken to police custody.
