In Turku's Haritus neighborhood, a 42-year-old man is suspected of fatally assaulting his ex-wife, a 38-year-old woman, in their shared residence. The authorities were alerted to the incident on March 3, when they discovered the woman deceased in her apartment. Following a brief search, the police apprehended the suspect, who was identified as the woman's former spouse, in the nearby Ilpoiset area.

Reports indicate that during the violent episode, a minor was present in the household and has also been reportedly assaulted by the suspect.
