Action on the 'King of Explosives': Farmhouse demolished after 10 tons of ammonium nitrate found
Authorities in Rajasthan have initiated significant action against Suleman Khan after discovering 10 tons of ammonium nitrate and other explosives at his illegal facility.
In Rajasthan's Nagaur district, a major operation was conducted against Suleman Khan, who is accused of illegally storing and supplying explosive materials. Following a police investigation, a joint team from the police and administration began demolishing illegal constructions and walls at a farmhouse that Khan had established on approximately 45 bighas of land in the village of Harsaura. This facility was reportedly being used for the storage and trade of explosives.
On January 25, the Nagaur police raided Khan's premises and uncovered around 10 tons of ammonium nitrate, along with a large quantity of other explosives, instigating panic throughout the area. This substantial amount of explosives raised significant concerns regarding safety and illegal activities in the region. Authorities are emphasizing strict action against such illicit operations to ensure public safety and maintain law and order.
Additionally, the police investigation revealed that Suleman Khan already has four previous charges registered against him under the Explosive Substances Act. These findings underscore the consistent problem of illegal explosives trafficking in the area, highlighting the potential dangers it poses to the local community and necessitating robust law enforcement efforts.
