Located in Dubai and Muscat, the teams offer consular services, including the issuance of emergency passports. The team in Dubai is especially equipped with a medical professional to assist citizens who may require medical attention during their departure. Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide commented on the situation, noting that while more flights are becoming available from the region, many Norwegians still await the opportunity to leave. The ministry continues to explore various avenues for evacuation.

Furthermore, Eide confirmed that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is on high alert, suggesting an ongoing evaluation of the situation and readiness to act as needed.
