The Greek government has announced the formation of a seven-member board for the Pharos AI Factory, set to operate as part of the national Artificial Intelligence initiative.
The Ministry of Digital Governance and Artificial Intelligence and the Sovereign Wealth Fund of Greece have jointly announced the formation of a seven-member Board of Directors for the Pharos AI Factory, a subsidiary company touted as the business arm of Greece's national Artificial Intelligence initiative. This initiative will utilize the new national supercomputer, 'Daedalus', as its computational backbone. The Sovereign Wealth Fund holds a 70% stake in the subsidiary, while the Ministry of Digital Governance and AI holds the remaining 30%.
