An attack by armed bandits at a Civil Protection Guard checkpoint in Abaji Town, Katsina-Ala Local Government Area of Benue State, left one person dead and two others injured. The identity of the deceased was confirmed as Aondohemba Kavee, aged 43, who was shot during the incident.
