On Thursday, a small aircraft conducting a scenic flight in Guanambi, located in the southwest of Bahia, was forced to make an emergency landing due to a mechanical failure. The plane took off from the Municipal Airport Isaac Moura Rocha but experienced engine trouble during the flight, preventing the pilot from returning to the airport. Consequently, the pilot had to make a forced landing in an open area along the road connecting Guanambi to Caetité.

According to the local city hall, two passengers onboard sustained injuries; one received a head injury and bruising on the ribs, while the other incurred only minor abrasions. Both individuals were promptly taken to Hospital Geral de Guanambi for medical evaluation. Fortunately, reports from regional media, specifically TV Sudoeste, which is affiliated with TV Bahia, confirmed that both occupants are now recovering well following the incident.
