Fenocin will be the 'operation center' to promote the recall of President Daniel Noboa

The Fenocin has established its headquarters in Quito as the operational center for pushing forward the recall of President Daniel Noboa's mandate.

The Confederation of National Organizations of Peasants, Indigenous, Black, and Montuvias (Fenocin) has designated its headquarters in Quito as the strategic center for initiating a recall procedure against President Daniel Noboa. Announced by Fenocin President Guido Perugachi, this move marks the beginning of efforts to collect the necessary citizen signatures required for the recall process, as outlined in the Ecuadorian Constitution.

Perugachi detailed that the first steps in their campaign would involve forming a national coordinator comprised of representatives from various grassroots social organizations. He emphasized the importance of mobilizing these groups to gather support and signatures across the country. The call for collaborative grassroots initiatives, referred to as a 'minga nacional,' indicates a strategy to rally widespread community participation in the recall campaign, ensuring that local teams are established to facilitate the process.

This initiative highlights the increasing political tensions in Ecuador, reflecting dissatisfaction with President Noboa's administration among certain sectors of society. The decision to pursue a recall is framed not only as a constitutional right but as a significant movement reflective of the broader discontent and the active role of grassroots organizations in advocating for political accountability in the country.
