Minor Abducted While Visiting Fair, Then Assaulted by Gang, Three Arrested
A minor girl in Uttar Pradesh was abducted and gang-raped after visiting a fair, with three suspects arrested by the police.
In a disturbing incident from the Chola police station area of Bulandshahr district in Uttar Pradesh, a minor girl was reportedly abducted and gang-raped. The incident came to light after the victim's family lodged a complaint, leading the police to register a case against three identified suspects and one unknown accused. The police have since apprehended the three suspects for interrogation and subsequently presented them before a court.
The victim was attending a fair with her female relatives, who had engaged in enjoying rides while she opted to stay back due to feeling dizzy on the swings. After some time, when her family returned, they found her missing. It is alleged that during this time, two men abducted her, forcing her into a car after allegedly administering drugs to her either by ingestion or inhalation. Following the kidnapping, the perpetrators reportedly took turns in assaulting her.
As per the victimโs family, after she was missing for an extended period, they raised an alarm, leading to the police getting involved. The case has not only highlighted the grave issues of women's safety in public spaces but also emphasizes the urgent need for effective law enforcement and preventive measures to protect minors from such heinous crimes.
