A shocking case has emerged from Shravasti district in Uttar Pradesh wherein the skeletal remains of a 25-year-old woman farmer leader, Aanchal Mishra, were discovered in the Kakardari range of forest, causing a stir in the area. Misra had been missing for approximately 15 days, and her mysterious disappearance prompted police and forensic teams to gather crucial evidence from the scene. Reports indicate that her body had been hidden in the forest after she was murdered, triggering immediate police action.

Following the investigation, Suraj Verma, identified as the accused boyfriend, was arrested and has reportedly confessed to committing the murder. The police have taken Verma into custody and he has been sent to jail, with further details about the motive and circumstances expected to unfold as the investigation progresses. The victim, Aanchal Mishra, had left home on February 17, stating that she was attending a farmer union meeting in Bhinga. Upon her non-return, family members searched extensively but found no leads.
