In Kaushambi, a boyfriend murdered his widow girlfriend who obstructed the marriage, body thrown on the railway track
A man in Kaushambi, India, was arrested for allegedly murdering his girlfriend to prevent her from disrupting his wedding plans.
In a shocking incident in Kaushambi district of Uttar Pradesh, police have uncovered the murder of a woman, whose body was found on railway tracks three days ago. The authorities arrested the victim's boyfriend, Dinesh Kadai, along with his accomplice, Ranjit Kumar, under allegations that they killed the woman, Urmila Devi, to eliminate her as an obstacle to Dinesh's marriage. The incident reportedly occurred on the night of February 7, when the railway control room alerted police about an unknown woman's body near a railway track in the village of Parsipur.
Upon arriving at the scene, police found the lady's condition suspicious, with tape on her mouth, bound legs, and a rope around her neck, which led them to consider it a murder case from the start. After securing the body and sending it for a post-mortem examination, the police utilized social media to help identify the deceased. Subsequently, they confirmed her identity as Urmila Devi, wife of the late Chintamani, a resident of Hisamabad Bana in Mohabbatpur Paincha.
During the investigation, Superintendent of Police Rajesh Kumar revealed that Dinesh Kadai admitted to the murder during questioning. This brutal act underscores serious issues regarding domestic violence and the extreme measures some individuals may resort to in the pursuit of personal desires, such as marriage, highlighting the need for greater awareness and protective measures for vulnerable individuals in society.
