He described these actions as serious violations of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Lithuania's partners in the Middle East. Budrys stressed that safeguarding the security of EU citizens and their potential evacuation is currently a top priority, calling for close cooperation among Gulf countries and the EU to ensure the safety and return of their citizens.
