The conflict arose in the Mau Rasoolpur village following an incident during Holi, where a Hindu youth threw color on a Muslim member, sparking outrage and a subsequent confrontation. Hindu community members claim that the opposing group met at night and plotted an attack on them the following morning. Images and videos of the stone-pelting incident have surfaced, highlighting the escalating violence between the two communities.

In terms of casualties, six individuals from the Hindu side and five from the Muslim side were reported injured and received medical assistance.
