Motorcycle passenger dies in collision with bus in Macapá

A motorcycle passenger was killed and others injured in a collision involving three vehicles in Macapá.

A tragic traffic accident occurred in Macapá on the night of Wednesday, the 4th, resulting in the death of a woman and injuries to several others. According to the Military Police, the incident involved three vehicles, beginning with a bus whose driver claimed that the brakes had failed, leading to the fatal crash. After the incident, the bus driver remained at the scene and passed an alcohol test, which came back negative.

The second vehicle involved was a motorcycle, which was being ridden by a man who sustained serious injuries and was transported to the Emergency Hospital in Macapá. Unfortunately, his passenger, identified as Laudiceia Gomes Tenório, succumbed to her injuries at the scene. In addition, there was a third vehicle involved in the accident, occupied by two women and a three-month-old baby. Fortunately, those occupants only suffered minor injuries and were also taken to the Emergency Hospital for treatment.
