In a tragic accident in downtown Macapá early on Monday, a motorcyclist named Maiki Miranda da Silva lost his life in a collision with a car. The accident occurred at the intersection of Rua Leopoldo Machado and Avenida Antônio Coelho de Carvalho. The emergency medical service confirmed his death at the scene, highlighting the severity of the collision.

The car involved in the incident had license plates from French Guiana, raising questions about the circumstances surrounding the accident. The driver was subjected to a breathalyzer test, which returned a negative result for alcohol, indicating he was not under the influence at the time of the crash.
