Dozens of dead and injured in intensive air strikes on Iran

Iran faces unprecedented military escalation with intensive airstrikes from Israel and the US, resulting in numerous casualties and infrastructure damage.

Iran is currently experiencing a significant military escalation due to intensive airstrikes conducted by Israeli and American forces, reportedly affecting 174 districts across the country. This wave of strikes has resulted in dozens of fatalities and injuries, along with extensive damage to relief facilities and vital infrastructure. Iranian authorities have accused Washington and Tel Aviv of deliberately targeting civilians during these attacks, highlighting the humanitarian implications of such military actions.

On Thursday, Iranian officials reported casualties including 49 deaths and 275 injuries resulting from the airstrikes in the West Azerbaijan region. In addition, there were confirmed fatalities and injuries in the city of Malayer, where an attack targeted civilian facilities, including a factory, a parking lot, and a reception hall. These attacks underscore the substantial risk faced by the Iranian civilian population amidst the ongoing military confrontations.

Israeli media, such as Yedioth Ahronoth, has reported that over 3,000 Iranian soldiers and regime personnel have been killed as a result of the Israeli air force's operations. This statistic reflects the high toll taken on Iranian military forces, implying that the scale of the conflict is intensifying and further escalating regional tensions. Given the ongoing unrest and military actions, the humanitarian crisis in Iran may deepen, leading to calls for international responses and potential ramifications for global politics.
