This year, Kittilä is noted as the most affordable municipality for living costs, where homeowners can save up to €1,615 compared to living in Savonlinna, the most expensive municipality. The report emphasizes the particularly high costs of electricity and water in Savonlinna, which significantly contribute to the overall living expenses.
