In the wake of the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, over 250 individuals, including both residents and visitors from Norway, have reached out to the Seamen's Church located in Dubai for assistance. This surge in communication highlights the precarious situation faced by many Norwegians stranded in the region as a result of the turmoil. The Seamen's Church has become a crucial point of contact for those seeking guidance and support during these uncertain times.

Ann Kristin Karlsen, the leader of the Seamen's Church in Dubai, noted that the concerns progressively shifted from fears of imminent attacks to more pressing worries about how to return home. This change in focus underscores the challenges that Norwegians abroad are currently facing, as the conflict has disrupted travel plans and created an environment filled with uncertainty and anxiety.

In response to the growing need for assistance, Norway's ambassador in Abu Dhabi, Olav Myklebust, held an informational meeting with 110 Norwegians to provide updates and guidance. Additionally, the Norwegian Foreign Ministry has deployed extra resources to Dubai to support its citizens affected by the conflict, emphasizing the importance of ensuring the safety and well-being of Norwegians in distress within the region.
