Sesi organizes national robotics tournament
The Sesi organization is hosting the eighth edition of the Sesi Education Festival in São Paulo, featuring a robotics competition among other educational activities.
From Thursday to Sunday, the eighth edition of the Sesi Education Festival is taking place at the Bienal Foundation in São Paulo's Ibirapuera Park. Among the highlights of the event is a robotics competition, along with workshops and seminars focused on the use of artificial intelligence in education. The event is free to attend, except for the first day, which will be closed to the public.
According to the organizers, the robotics championship will include 2,300 students from public and private schools, aged between 9 and 19. Winners of the tournament, which has three different categories, will earn spots in the international First competition held in the United States. Additionally, a workshop will be available where visitors can learn about electrical circuits using modeling clay, with 40 slots that can be registered for during the event.
The Sesi Lab from Brasília will also present an exhibition featuring interactive sculptures that explore science, social, and natural phenomena, adding an artistic dimension to the educational focus of the festival. This event not only showcases students' skills in robotics but also underscores the importance of integrating technology and education in the modern learning environment.
