A man in his 60s appeals his 12-year prison sentence for drug importation to Norway, while another sentenced man accepted his 7 years and 2 months in prison.
A man in his 60s has filed an appeal against the 12-year prison sentence he received for importing significant quantities of narcotics into Norway. According to his lawyer, Morten Andreassen, this appeal follows a ruling in February where the man was convicted along with two others for importing large amounts of drugs. Among the substances mentioned in the court ruling were 31 kilos of amphetamine, over 833 grams of methamphetamine, and 29 kilos of hashish, all introduced into Norway in February 2021. The man has consistently denied any guilt regarding the charges.
