StealthGas: Profitability Soared in 2025

StealthGas reported strong profitability for the fourth consecutive year, with net profits reaching $60.6 million in 2025 despite geopolitical challenges.

StealthGas announced impressive financial results for 2025, marking its fourth consecutive year of strong profitability. The company recorded net profits of $60.6 million, translating to earnings per share of $1.64. However, the fourth quarter profits saw a 10% decrease compared to the same period in 2024, totaling $12.8 million or $0.34 per share, indicating some fluctuations amid an otherwise successful year.

Annual revenues also increased to $173.2 million, up from $167.3 million in 2024, attributed to a growing fleet, which averaged 28.4 vessels compared to 27.2 the previous year. This growth highlights the resilience of the LPG market despite the adverse effects of geopolitical instability. One notable factor affecting profits was the absence of revenue from the Eco Wizard vessel, which has been non-operational since July 2025, reflecting operational challenges that the company needed to navigate.

Moreover, travel expenses surged to $22.5 million, significantly higher than the previous year’s $11.7 million. This increase was primarily driven by rising fuel costs and port charges, resulting from extended days spent in the spot market. Overall, StealthGas's financial performance underscores not just their strategic operational adjustments but also the overall dynamics of the energy market amid changing global circumstances.
