In a recent interview on TVP Info's evening program 'Question of the Day', Poland's Deputy Foreign Minister Marcin Bosacki disclosed that a crisis team led by the Minister of Sports and Tourism Jakub Rutnicki has made initial decisions regarding the evacuation of Poles from the Middle East. This operation is particularly aimed at providing medical evacuation for those in severe health conditions who urgently require medication. Bosacki suggested that further details about the evacuation would be fully communicated shortly.

While the current focus is on evacuating citizens primarily from the United Arab Emirates, Bosacki emphasized that flights will not be departing directly from the UAE due to the limited time windows available for departures. Instead, the evacuees will be transported from neighboring countries such as Oman and Saudi Arabia. Additionally, Bosacki highlighted that airlines from the Gulf countries are resuming flights, with the first planes carrying Polish nationals having already landed in Warsaw and Poznań.

This evacuation initiative signifies Poland's commitment to safeguarding the well-being of its citizens abroad, especially during times of crisis.
