The first sports club will open in Avižieniai in mid-March: Gym+ will invite visitors to discover sports
A new sports club, Gym+, is set to open in Avižieniai in mid-March, marking a significant addition to the local sports infrastructure.
Avižieniai, a rapidly developing area in Lithuania, is set to welcome its first modern sports club, Gym+, by mid-March. This initiative responds to the growing community's needs, as the area has seen an influx of residential neighborhoods and businesses but has lacked a dedicated space for sports activities. Urban HUB Vilnius, which oversees the establishment, aims to enhance the local environment by promoting active lifestyles among residents.
According to Lina Volodzkienė, Head of Commerce and Development at Urban HUB, the introduction of Gym+ is a natural evolution of the community’s growing sports culture. The goal is to provide a facility that not only serves the interests of those looking to engage in fitness but also complements the existing variety of sports activities already present in the Urban HUB. With the establishment of this club, Avižieniai will cater to a wider audience interested in physical health and sports engagement.
The CEO of the Gym+ network, Mantas Badikonis, emphasized that this decision was influenced by the demand for more sports services within the community. The new sports club is anticipated to offer diverse training options, serving various interests and fitness levels, ultimately fostering a healthier and more active community spirit in Avižieniai.
