LeNeSOns visits the theater – concert for younger listeners and their families
A concert featuring music from famous works and Latvian composers is set to take place, involving actors from the Dailes Theater and the LNSO.
The upcoming concert titled 'LeNeSOns visits the theater' is designed for younger audiences and their families, featuring a mix of classical masterpieces and beloved Latvian songs. Performers include actors from the Dailes Theater's 10th studio and the conductor Māris Kuģis, who will lead the Latvian National Symphony Orchestra (LNSO). This initiative provides a unique opportunity for families to experience classical music in an accessible format.
The concert will showcase renowned pieces, such as Felix Mendelssohn's overture from 'A Midsummer Night's Dream', excerpts from Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's opera 'The Magic Flute', and segments from Pyotr Tchaikovsky's ballet 'Swan Lake' and Igor Stravinsky's 'Firebird'. The performances aim to captivate younger audiences with familiar tunes while introducing them to the world of classical music, enhancing their appreciation and understanding of the genre.
