An emergency medical services vehicle went off the road and got stuck in a ditch in the Vilkaviškis district, with firefighters assisting in its recovery.
On March 3rd, at around 4:43 PM, a report was made regarding the need to clear the roadway following an accident in the Šeimenos municipality, specifically along the road connecting Kybartai and Vilkaviškis. The incident involved a VW Transporter, an emergency medical services vehicle, which had veered off the road and was stuck in a ditch near the village of Maldėnai. Firefighters arrived on the scene to assist in the recovery of the vehicle.
Upon arrival, it was determined that in addition to the recovery efforts, there was an environmental concern as pollutants had leaked over a 10 square meter area. The firefighters took measures to collect the spilled substances, effectively cleaning the roadway to ensure safe passage for other vehicles. Fortunately, there were no reports of any individuals being trapped or injured in the incident.
