In a recent YouTube broadcast, the right-wing YouTuber Jeon Han-gil discussed the impact of a debate he held with Lee Jun-seok on the topic of election fraud conspiracy theories. Jeon remarked that their discussion effectively prompted Jang Dong-hyeok, leader of the People Power Party, to respond by suggesting the formation of a task force for election monitoring. Jeon emphasized the interest that the public showed in the debate, claiming that around 5 million people, or 15% of the electorate, watched the event, thus validating concerns about election integrity and the need for oversight.
Jang Dong-hyeok posted on Facebook, highlighting the significant viewership of the debate, which reached over 300,000 live viewers and accumulated 500,000 views in a single day. He emphasized that the public's interest reflects a pressing need for discussions on the integrity of the electoral process. However, his response has been met with criticism from the Reformist Party, which led the debate. They labeled Jang as a "cancer cell" that undermines conservatism by exploiting election fraud conspiracies for political gain.
