In a heartwarming turn of events, a pregnant dog named Bonnie that was rescued from being buried alive in a condominium in Joinville, Santa Catarina, has found a new home. The Center for Animal Welfare reported that Bonnie, who is expecting five puppies, was in critical condition when rescued on February 6 and has since stabilized after undergoing physiotherapy. The family that adopted her will care for Bonnie and her puppies until they are weaned, which is expected around the beginning of March.
