The match is scheduled for Saturday at Arena Fonte Nova, where the home advantage belongs to Bahia. This policy, in effect since 2018, is aimed at preventing violence among rival fans, especially considering the series of violent incidents in the past. One significant incident occurred on April 9, 2017, when violence between fans resulted in multiple detentions and a death.

In response to the decision, Vitória indicated they had not formally been notified but stated they would not pursue an appeal.
