On Tuesday, FIFA presented the official poster for the 2026 World Cup, marking the countdown of 100 days to the tournament's kickoff. The poster features a collage design that incorporates recognizable elements from the three host countries—Canada, the United States, and Mexico. At the center of the design is the silhouette of a soccer player, symbolizing the sport that unites fans worldwide.
FIFA President Gianni Infantino emphasized that this poster embodies the energy, diversity, and shared passion for soccer which will define the most inclusive edition of the World Cup in history. The vibrant colors of the poster—reds representing Canada, blues for the USA, and greens for Mexico—are a celebration of the cultures and identities of the participating nations. This collaborative artistic effort involved Canadian artist Carson Ting, Mexican artist Minerva GM, and American artist Hank Willis Thomas.
The poster also includes various cultural references unique to each country. For instance, the Mexican elements feature an eagle from the country's national emblem, marigold flowers, and a trumpet, highlighting the rich cultural heritage of Mexico.
