V. Danisevičiūtė, a wrestler from Šiauliai, Lithuania, achieved a significant milestone by winning a silver medal at the UWW category women’s wrestling competition held in Sofia, Bulgaria. Competing in the under 53 kg weight class, she showcased her skills by defeating Nicoleta Bajan of Romania and Bulgaria's Nikola Aleksandrova in the early rounds, which set a strong foundation for her performance throughout the tournament.
Despite her strong start, Danisevičiūtė faced tough competition in the later rounds, particularly against Romania's Electra Garaiacu, where she lost 1-12, and the tournament winner, Hungary's Szonja Nemeth, falling 1-4.
