Eight chains of household appliances will be together for the first time at a simultaneous fair in Guayaquil and Quito
Eight major appliance retailers in Ecuador will participate in a simultaneous fair in Guayaquil and Quito, showcasing competitive offers and consumer guidance.
For the first time, eight Ecuadorian chains of household appliances and technology will jointly showcase their products at the Súper Feria Electroshow, scheduled from March 25 to 29, 2026, in both Guayaquil at Expoplaza and in Quito at the Centro de Exposiciones. This unprecedented collaboration aims to provide consumers with a platform for comparative shopping, ensuring transparent competition and formal backing from major retailers such as Artefacta, Comandato, and Marcimex, among others.
The event emphasizes consumer engagement, allowing attendees to explore various proposals and make informed purchasing decisions with the support of specialized advisors. The concept is designed to enhance the shopping experience significantly, especially with the upcoming FIFA World Cup in June, which is generating a heightened interest in televisions and related technology. Retailers will be promoting the latest generation screens in various sizes and technologies, targeting football fans eager to follow the matches from home.
The initiative is backed by the Association of Appliance Stores of Ecuador (Asadelec), which is focused on reinforcing consumer trust and competitive pricing within the home appliance market. Overall, the Súper Feria Electroshow represents a major milestone for the Ecuadorian retail landscape, promoting collaboration among competitors while providing added value to consumers.
