Over a span of 48 hours, Modi has telephoned several key leaders in the Gulf region, focusing on the recent attacks, regional stability, and the safety of millions of Indian citizens residing there. This reflects India's proactive approach to ensure the welfare of its nationals in volatile areas.

One of the first leaders Modi spoke to was Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman. During their conversation, Modi expressed concern over the current security situation in Oman and inquired about the well-being and security of the Indian community, which is significantly large in the country. The relationship between India and Oman is strengthened by the presence of many Indian workers and professionals who play a critical role in Oman's economy.

Following his discussion with Oman, PM Modi also contacted the Crown Prince of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, to address the impact of the regional tensions in his country. The two leaders discussed security cooperation and coordination, particularly focusing on measures to safeguard Indian citizens amid these rising geopolitical tensions. Modi's series of diplomatic conversations underscores India's commitment to protecting its citizens abroad and maintaining strong bilateral relations with key Gulf nations.
