The Indian Ministry of Defence has made a major advancement in the country's defense capabilities by finalizing two key contracts worth a total of 5083 crores. One of these contracts, valued at 2901 crores, involves the procurement of six Advanced Light Helicopters (ALH) Mk-III for the Indian Coast Guard, which will be manufactured by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL). These helicopters are designed with advanced technology and are intended to enhance the operational capacity of the Coast Guard in maritime roles, significantly contributing to India's coastal security.
