A notable incident involved a man who had to be rescued by firefighters after slipping and falling from a hill in the Calabetão neighborhood, becoming trapped in dense vegetation.
The heavy rains were not limited to Salvador; they also caused substantial flooding in the town of Santo Amaro, affecting major streets and avenues, including Avenida Garcia Derba.
