On Tuesday night, Russia conducted a significant aerial assault on Ukraine, deploying a total of 136 drones, as stated by Ukrainian Air Forces. In this operation, it was reported that 127 of these drones were successfully intercepted and neutralized, which underscores the ongoing conflict between the two nations. Among the drones used in this attack, approximately 80 were identified as Shahed models, demonstrating a reliance on Iranian-made technology.

The Ukrainian military reported that five of the remaining drones were able to hit targets at three different locations. Additionally, debris from other drones reportedly struck three other areas. This points to the challenges that Ukrainian air defense systems continue to face in protecting its territory from incoming threats, as Russian forces utilize a combination of different drone types, including Shahed, Gerbera, and Italmas, to maximize their offensive capabilities.
